Nicaragua 1979, the final fighting takes place between the National Guard of the dictator Somoza and the Sandinist Liberation Front. Agustin, a soldier in a special unit of the National Guard, visits his family. His father and his sister are on the side of the rebels. Agustin witnesses the cruelties committed by the National Guard against the civilian population. The parents persuade him to desert.
